Inspired by another cake, I made this for one of my babysitters. She loves moons, stars and the colors blue and yellow so I thought it was a good fit. Lately, I've felt like I was in a cake rut, always making the same things in the same colors. I wanted to try something new, something from fondant. And of all the fondant cakes I've made to date, this one was covered the best.
Inside is Naturally Nora's Surprising Stars cake mix. Of course.
